This site has been produced because four very special schools between 1996 and 1999 were part of a European Schools Project.
The schools involved were:
EREA LES MARETTES in HEROUVILLE,  FRANCE
RAMSVIK SKOLE in STAVANGER, NORWAY
ST. PETER'S in DUBLIN, IRELAND
THE STEVENSON EDUCATION CENTRE in FRASERBOURGH, SCOTLAND

The schools corresponded closely with each other. They shared special festivals, took part in international sports competitions, produced common projects linking art and music culture and tradition. One aspect which was enjoyed especially was the exchange, cooking and sampling of "favourite foods" from each country.
We feel that the pupils and staff involved in our "Special School Project" have become less insular and are beginning to see themselves as "Europeans".

We hope you will enjoy sampling our favourite recipes as much as we enjoyed putting them together.

Use the links to the left on the screen to study the recipe of  your favourite dish.

The content is the same, but the site itself was updated and rebuilt in the summer of 2010 by it's editor, Harald Claussen.
